Anita Verbeek is involved in both collective and individual dismissal law. In that context, she advises both private and business clients. She advises national and international parties on termination processes, pension issues, transfers of undertaking and changes in employment conditions. She has extensive experience in procedural law and negotiation processes between employer and employees, with or without the intervention of works councils and trade unions. Anita assists directors and supervisors in governance issues. Her business clients are in the financial and healthcare sector, the technical, pharmaceutical and food industry and the (semi) government.
She was local and national chairman of the Jonge Balie Nederland (a foundation advocating for young lawyers in the Netherlands), winner of the national moot court competitions and has gained extensive administrative and supervisory experience at, among others, Netherlands Center for Commissioners and Directors (NCD), the Royal Dutch Tone Artists Association (KNTV), and several artistic and charitable foundations. She is co-founder of an independent secondary school in Amsterdam and was chairman of its board for 4 years. In addition she holds various (unpaid) board positions.
