Olga Rote has been a lawyer since 1989 and enjoyed working with corporate law, family law and employment law departments at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek until 2000. After that she set up her own boutique office. She has more than 25 years of experience in employment and dismissal practice. Olga is active in all facets of employment law: labor conflicts, reorganisations, collective dismissal cases and employee participation issues. She often works at the intersection of employment law and corporate law, such as in the context of takeovers, transfers of undertakings and works councils. Olga also has experience as an interim corporate lawyer, among others at Schiphol Airport and KLM. Olga has been an MfN registered mediator since 2008 and has many years of experience as a mediator in labor mediations, both in the field of classic labor conflicts and in conflicts within a board, in a team or between shareholders. She also regularly acts as a legal family mediator. Olga is a member of the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN) and the Dutch Employment Mediators Association and gives webinars and courses on employment law, mediation and negotiation. She publishes on employment law topics. Olga is a board supervisor at the Haardstee Foundation. De Haardstee assists people with intellectual and/or psychiatric disabilities.
